Why does racism still exist today in the 21 century? Will it ever end?
Racism exists because we cannot forget the past enough to move forward into the future. Hate is taught and passed down from generation to generation, it is not something we are born with. Until we understand that we are all humans and each life is valued the same, become understanding and compassionate towards our differences, racism will continue to plague the human race. It’s a shame that we are such intelligent beings yet can’t ever seem to just “get it together.” I am sorry to say that racism will not end during our lifetimes. Perhaps some day too distant in the future, but not any time soon.
