Why does Quiz Center often grade short answer questions incorrectly, even if Ive selected “Inexact Match” and the student responds correctly?
Well, nothing’s perfect, not even Quiz Center. As you can see when you Create a Quiz, we recommend that if you want to include short-answer questions, you make the test mail-in only. In other words, for anything other than True-False and Multiple Choice, grade the test yourself rather than allowing Quiz Center to grade it for you.
