Why Does Puppy Eat Cats Poop?
Not only puppies but all dogs regardless of age and breed eat poop. Some dogs like to eat feces of cats, other like feces of their won or of other animals. Researchers are unable to find genuine reasons of poop eating in dogs. Many theories have been suggested but non of them has been proven. Theories like dog eat feces if their diet is lacking some nutrients or when they are not getting enough food, poop eating is more common in dogs that live in kennels, and dogs eat feces to hide their stool need strong scientific evidences to prove. So, nothing can be done for poop eating behavior in dog. Only thing you can do is to keep the stools away from the reach of your dog by cleaning immediately.
