Why does Poetry Dailys domain name contain the suffix “.com” rather than “.org”?
We originally registered under the domain “poems.com.” Because thousands of readers across the U.S. and around the world already knew us by this name, we retained it when we became a not-for-profit charitable corporation under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, you can also find us at http://www.poetrydaily.org.
