Our research has showed that the worst thing a candidate can do is randomly apply to companies. Once you have applied to a company there is no incentive for a recruiter to help the candidate. They can only collect a fee if they were the ones making the introduction. The last thing a candidate wants is for a recruiter that has a solid job opportunity to stop working with the candidate when he learns that the candidate was already in the companys database. When this happens, both the recruiters and the candidates lose.
