Why does Outlook Web Access shows the wrong time on a meeting request?

0

You might have received a meeting request for a meeting which, say, you know is scheduled for Thursday morning at 10am. However, when you view the meeting request using Outlook Web Access, the meeting appears to be for the previous evening. Viewing the same meeting request using Microsoft Outlook shows the meeting correctly as Thursday morning at 10am. This can happen if the time zone is incorrectly set in your Outlook Web Access. To change this, Open www.outlook.soton.ac.uk in your web browser and login to your account. Click on the Options icon in the Shortcuts bar. Under Date and Time Formats, click on the drop down arrow for Current Time Zone: and select (GMT) Greenwich Mean Time Click Save and Close The meeting request should now show the correct time.
