Why does Oriyen Bifidus-100 contain only a single strain of Bifidobacterium Longum?

Studies show that Bifidobacterium Longum dwindles with age, even if it is not reduced by antibiotics, stress, poor diet, lack of fibre, etc. Other bacteria, including Lactobacillus Acidophilus and harmful bacteria, however, grow with age. Dr. Tomotari Mistsuoka found that healthy elderly people have more Bifidobacterium Longum and less harmful bacteria, and that their intestines are almost as “young” as healthy adults in their 30’s! He surmised that aging is closely related to the decline in Bifidobacterium Longum, and supplementing it may contribute to optimal health and longevity.
