Why does only the USA sell weapons to Taiwan?
Since China vigorously opposes this, other countries are not willing to suffer the inevitable economic retaliation from China for selling weapons to Taiwan. The United States has a strong historical and political bond with Taiwan and is an important enough country to China that it can survive Chinese retaliation, which is usually limited to the Chinese temporarily cancelling planned military meetings with the USA.
