Why does Ohio need a complete inventory of state-owned properties?
The State has a system for keeping track of people, office supplies, and equipment. Why should it not have a comprehensive inventory of real-property—an expensive and valuable resource? An inventory will let people learn where they can go for public hunting, which agency owns adjacent land that is not being properly maintained and where land might be available for use as a community park or business opportunity.
