Why does Obama interject the phrase “as I have said all along..” in his statements about…?
It’s because the home-grown terrorists, the self-named Tea Party, keep writing fiction and then insisting it’s fact, usually by attributing false statements and actions to any and all who disagree with them. The US used to be a democracy. Now, some conservatives are doing anything they can think of to impose their will on the country instead of letting the majority of people make decisions based on facts. In a polite attempt to combat their destructive lies and behavior, the President reminds people that he is saying what he has always said. If these zealots don’t start acting like responsible adults, Bin Laden and Islamic extremists can just sit back, laughing, and wait for them to destroy the country, then move in and take over. Their dirty tactics may destroy the US as we know it, and as people around the world depend on it to be, but those extremists will eat them alive.
