Why does northeast monsoons bring rain?

0

I presume you mean the Northeast monsoon which blows over India..If so,this monsoon blows during the period October to December every year.In the middle of October, the low pressure area which used to lie over the North India earlier shifts and moves over the Bay of Bengal.Under the influence of this, a number of depressions(low pressure areas) form over the Bay of Bengal one after another..This usually moves towards northwest or west and crosses the eastern coast of Peninsular India bringing lot of rain with it.Even today(4th November).the east coast is experiencing heavy rain due to a low pressure area which is moving towards the coast.
