• As you must know already, Onigumo fell in love for Kikyo, and in order to get her, sold himself to the demons. Naraku has those same feelings as Onigumo, and doesn’t get rid of him until like episode 120 or something when he completely detaches onigumo from himself in the form of a baby. Inuyasha and Kikyo were in love, thus Naraku was jealous of Inuyasha. Furthermore, they are just plain enemies. Inuyasha is competition for the shards.
