Why does MySpeed expire and force me to upgrade?

During MySpeed’s beta testing, we wanted to make sure users upgraded to the latest release on a regular basis so their feedback would reflect issues with the most recent version. With each release we set an expiration date tied to the next beta release. In addition, when a trial version is downloaded, it expires in 7 days. MySpeed is no longer in beta, and with the exception of the trial versions, does not expire.
