Why does my Z-Xtreme battery lose its ability to run all day after only 2-3 weeks (10-15 discharge cycles)?
The capacity is not really diminishing. A smart lithium ion battery needs be conditioned -or calibrated so it can communicate accurate capacity information to the charger and to the Z-Xtreme. Calibration is done by the charger when the “calibrate” button is pressed. It should take approximately 12 hours. Calibration should be done after every 10-15 discharges or after the battery has not been used for a long period of time.
