Why does my pH electrode give slow, sluggish, drifting, unrepeatable readings ?
There are three possibilities to explain these observations: • the electrode sensing surfaces may be coated • the electrode may be reaching its useful life (typically 6 to 24 months) • a low ionic (conductivity below 100 microsiemens) media is being measured.
