Why does my Nokia device display SIM Card (Smart Chip) registration failed ?

If your phone is showing this message. There are many reasons it shows this
· The SIM is not inserted in its right place.
· There must be no proper network.
· Services of SIM might be deactivated.
I have also faced the same problem with my International SIM card so switch off my phone and reset it. And the problem is solved.
This error will be caused even when your Nokia does not support that network carrier also… Did you change to a new network SIM in your mobile, so in that case this error is possible… that means your sim is locked with your earlier network, in that case you can go for unlocking it where your problem will be solved… check with your network provider before proceeding, if they are not helpful then try with ClassicUnlocking.com an online unlocking service if you are interested… gud luck…
