Why does my MrSID raster layers histogram not look correct?

To save time, we calculate the raster statistics on the lowest resolution within the wavelet-compressed raster. This gives a less accurate representation of the raster, but the statistics are calculated very quickly. Most often, the stretch type can be set to “None” as this type of raster is usually stretched prior to being compressed.
