Why does my internet broadband internet connection keep failing whenever my phone rings?
I assume you have a DSL broadband connection. If you do, you probably need to install a DSL-filter/splitter on your phone line or if you already have one, maybe it isn’t working as it should. The phone signal is kept separate from the DSL signal using a filter so that the phone-calls don’t interfere with your internet connection. If you don’t have a filter, then every time your phone rings, the phone call interferes with the internet signal and causes the modem to drop its connection.
