This transfer tool may not work correctly with PalmOS-based devices made by other manufacturers, since they may store and manipulate the ROM differently in their devices than the ROM transfer program expects. For instance, Handspring’s Visor uses a non-flashable ROM, while Palm’s own devices use a flashable ROM. You should use a ROM from a Palm, Inc. device and/or download a ROM from Palm’s developer Web site. Details on how to do this are available in this related FAQ item.
