Why does my DVD say incorrect region code on a Jensen?
DVDs have region codes and only work on players that have the same region code. Look at the DVD cover and you’ll see a circle (looks a little like a globe) that has a number in it. Look on the back of the DVD player, and you’ll also have a number. Those numbers must match or the DVD won’t play in the player. The original intent was to keep people from shipping movies that have been released in one region and not another. There are many cracks out there, just google it.
