Why does my dog have gas when eating Newman’s Own Organics pet food?
A small amount of gas is normal. Excessive gas (flatulence) can be caused by a number of factors such as changing to a new diet too quickly, overeating or eating too fast. If your animal has recently switched to Newman’s Own Organics pet food, please follow our guidelines on the package and the gas should disappear on its own within a few weeks. Also, you may feed smaller meals more frequently. If the gas persists, you should speak with your veterinarian to rule out any medical conditions.
