Why does my document print to a file when I select the print command in Microsoft Word (XP) and Microsoft PowerPoint (XP/2K)?
After using OfficeReady Professional 3.0 to save a document as a PDF file or send a document as a PDF file attachment, the option Print to File is selected by default in the Microsoft PowerPoint Print dialog (Figure 1). Figure 1: The option Print to File selected in the Microsoft PowerPoint Print dialog. Click here to view a larger version of the image above. To resolve the problem, clear the Print to File check box, then click OK. Back to top After installing the OfficeReady application, I see the “OR Pro 3.0 PDF Converter” listed as one of the printers. Why can’t I print selecting this printer using the application File | Print command? The OR Pro 3.0 PDF Converter is a custom PDF printer and is designed to support printing only through the OfficeReady Add-ins. The OR Pro 3.0 PDF Converter printer will not accept a print job through the File | Print menu option. Note: In case a print job is accidentally assigned to the OR Pro 3.0 PDF Converter, the print job will need to be cancelled
