Why does my computer say that I need to run the Noah’s Ark: Story of Easter, and the Birth of Jesus programs in 256 colors?

The programs were designed in this color setting. I order for the program to function properly, the computer must be set to this color setting. However, the Story of Moses and David require that the computer be set to 16 bit High Color to function properly.
