hi mate virtual memory(also known as your page file) is part of your hard drive that used as if it were system memory when you run a application or program the computer uses memory(ram) for temporary storage of data,normally if you have the recommended amount of memory for the program you should be ok,however if you dont your p.c will begin to use the virtual memory virtual memory capacity is calculated by multiplying the total system ram by 1.5,so for example if you have 512mb ram ,your virtual memory will be 768mb,and if you have 1gb ram your virtual memory will be 1536mb however if the program uses all the virtual memory you will receive a message “virtual memory too low” if you receive this message only on the odd occasion its nothing to worry about,just leave your p.c for about 2 to 3 minutes so windows can build the virtual memory back up however if you start to get this message more often then its a good chance you need to upgrade your systems memory,i recommend you double your
