Windows XP is set to automatically restart in the event of a system failure. It will do this with no warning. To stop the automatic restart you can go into the System properties (either by right clicking on “My computer” and going to properties or you can Go through the Control Panel under Performance and Maintenance then click on system)…Once in the System properties click on the Advanced then click on the Settings button under the section “Startup and Recovery”…On the next screen you will see system failure and there will be 3 checked boxes…UNcheck the one labeled “Automaticallyt restart”….once you click ok your computer will stop simply restarting…it will instead give you the BSoD upon system failure. Now…as far as the cause for your System failure…..Many things could cause such a thing…. Processor Failure – Usually overheating will cause this. If your processer reaches over 150F your motherboard will shut the processor down to prevent damage. If this is the case you
