Why does my computer freeze and/or shut down when connecting to an Elluminate session?
There are two possible solutions to correct this problem: Solution 1: Update the software driver for your network adapter card. First, find your network adapter card’s information: 1. Click on Start menu then select Control Panel ( or Start, Settings, then Control Panel). 2. Double-click System. 3. Click the Hardware tab. 4. Click the Device Manager button 5. Scroll down the list to find Network Adapters and click the ” + ” to reveal the type of network adapter card in use. Write this information down, which is usually the manufacturer and model name. 6. Visit the manufacturer’s Web page and download and install the latest driver for your network adapter card. Solution 2: If an update to the software driver of your network adapter card does not prevent the problem, you may need to replace your network adapter card.
