Why does my computer constantly make a beeping noise (ticket expiration)?

When a computer is migrated to the H Sci managed IASTATE domain, the Iowa State supported Leash software is installed by default to handle ticket requests made by Iowa State supported services. These tickets are set to expire after a set amount of hours for security reasons. Once the tickets expire, your computer will continuously make a beeping sound (alarm) to inform you that tickets need to be renewed. To renew, do the following: • Right-click on the Leash icon ( ) in the bottom right corner of your screen • Select Renew Ticket(s)/Token(s) If the window below appears after selecting Renew Ticket(s)/Token(s), please type your IASTATE Net-ID and password in their respective fields.
