Why does my church/organization participate in the PenPal Program?
Your church, school, business or other organization participates in the PenPal program because it has made a commitment to be a Remote Care Partner with Orphan Justice Mission. The commitment is to be supportive of OJM’s work in a foreign community, like Ddwaniro, Uganda, through prayer, relationships and/or giving. The PenPal Program is a way for the people of your organization to get involved on a personal level and it’s a great encouragement to the kids and community members of the Direct Care Partner. Also, some groups (especially school class rooms) join the PenPal program as a way to learn about another culture.
