Why does my child have to conform to a specific dress code in Ballet class?
For proper dance education, it is important that all students dress in the appropriate attire for each specific class. Ballet in particular involves very detailed body movements and placement. Having all students dressed to a standard makes it possible for the instructor to more easily notice incorrect positions and movements to make the appropriate corrections before any “bad habits” are formed.
