Why does my chihuahua chew on my undergarments?
Hello, I have a chihuahua who is now four years old, he used to chew on clothing in general from around 6 months to 2 years old. If your chihuahua is a puppy then it could just be that he is teething but if he is older than 2 years of age then he may have territorial issues with you, it really depends on the situation you are in. If you got him before you met your fiancee, if he has always been around your fiancee. He may just enjoy playing with undergarments or it may be a psychological thing, either way I would recommend that he does not see you and your fiancee having intercourse, just keep him in a different room or something and maybe try not to leave undergarments lying around where he can access them. If he still has access to it then you can try reinforcement by catching him red-handed and telling him off and when he is around undergarments and does not chew on them, reward him for his behaviour everytime and maybe he will get over it with time.
