Why does my carpet python eat 1 week, and then just randomly stop eating for about 3 weeks?
Hi, my carpet python sometimes goes of her feed but usually only in the spring, which is likely to be due to the mating season so my advice is to check your temperatures, 90 to 100 degrees under the heat lamp, 84 to 86 mid tank and as little as 77 at the cool end. At 2 years old she should be eating one medium to adult rat per week, I can’t be more accurate than this because you didn’t say which carpet python you have or what size.
