*First of all*, go to the Windows>Control Panel>Gaming Controls/Options area and calibrate your controls there. You may end up at your Windows-based software that came with your steering wheel & pedals, but do your calibration on the Windows side first. This is where NHeat gets it calibration values from, not in the sim like most have done in the past. Once that is done, fire up NHeat/DTM, proceed to the Options>Controls screen in the sim, then click on “Advanced”. On the Advanced screen there are adjustments that can be made to “fine-tune” your wheel & pedal settings. With the variety of wheel and pedal sets out there, no one set of adjustments will work that same for everyone, but a somewhat common group of settings to start with is to adjust the Dead Spot & Overshoot settings all the way off, and adjust the Non-Linear Steering setting to approx. 3/4 of the way across the bar (on).
