Why does my antivirus program say the bot is a backdoor, virus, suspicious etc?
Every now and then some Anti-Virus programs will falsely detect TibiaBot NG as “riskware”, “malware” or even a “backdoor/trojan”. I want to assure everyone that these are false alarms. The bot is 100% safe. The only reason this happens is because we use madCodeHook from madshi.net. It is used by many companies but sometimes it is used by hackers to make spyware and other bad stuff. The maker of the program says this about madCodeHook… “Before beginning with the work, let me say it loud and clear: I don’t want madCodeHook to be used for illegal purposes! If you want to write a virus or a backdoor or whatever, please use something else. madCodeHook is used by several people for serious work and I don’t want their work to be impacted negatively in any way. If you spread viruses which uses madCodeHook, some anti virus programs will condemn every single product, which uses madCodeHook.
