Why does moisture affect wood floors?
Wood will absorb moisture and expand when exposed to high humidity. Conversely, wood also expels moisture and shrinks in low humidity environments, changing and balancing with its general surroundings. Before wood can be used for interior purposes, a majority of the water must be removed and then it must be properly stored and handled throughout the process ending in installation at your facility.
