Why does Mishimoto recommend electronic cooling fans?
Mishimoto electric fans offer you a slimmer and more efficient cooling source as compared to OEM fans. Electric fans move more cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air than standard engine driven (mechanical) fans that come on most vehicles. At idle and low speeds a mechanical fan slows down as the engines rpm decreases. This causes a reduction in airflow. In comparison, electric fans maintain a consistent speed regardless of the engines rpm which increases cooling at idle and low speeds. Benefits of Mishimoto electric fans are often seen in cars with added horsepower.
