Why does MBSA report an error while trying to download files from the Internet?

0

MBSA relies on Internet Explorer (IE) settings to download files. Some corporate environments may also use a proxy server. Consequently, the client computer might not be configured correctly to access the Internet through a proxy server. You must configure Internet Explorer to use your network’s proxy server. To configure proxy settings in Internet Explorer • In Internet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options. • Click Connections, and then click LAN Settings. • Do one of the following: If your network is configured to support auto detection of proxy servers, select Automatically detect settings. Or If your network is not configured to support auto detection of proxy servers, select Use a proxy server for your LAN, and then type the name or IP address of the proxy server in the Address box. If the proxy server uses a nonstandard port, type the port number in the Port box.
