Why does LayED opened in ‘demo’ mode?
For an Aladdin dongle license, check that: the appropriate dongle driver has been installed the dongle is inserted in your system (node-locked license) or a license is available from server (network license) the license file (esy.lic) is in the correct directory (as defined by the ESY root directory – check the environment variables ESY_DIR and ESY_LICENSE)For an RLM license, check that: the license file is placed in the LayTOOLS root directory (or in the location defined by the environmental variables ESY_DIR and ESY_LICENSE) the license file refers to the appropriate physical address or hostid if on a network, that the license server software has been successfully run on the server Some systems will lose connection to a dongle on system hibernation. In this case the user must re-launch the application.
