Why Does Langlitz Leathers Offer Goatskin?
Goatskin is simply a great leather for bikers. It is relatively thin and supple compared to cowhide, but yet tough and water resistant. Ross (Langlitz) learned of its qualities while working in a glove factory in the 1940s, and offered it to those who wanted to avoid the heavier and less flexible hides typically used for biker leathers. Now, slightly over half of our production is in goatskin!
