lanauditor relies on info from manufacturers to state bios compliance, so When the version was written if the manufacturer was not 100% sure of Compliance status la was told to report “unknown”. As manufacturer Information improves we hope to get this incorporated into later versions And further improve the detection rate. Do look at the other fields, however. You can tell a lot from the bios date And chip info. For example, a clone bios (ami or phoenix) that supports a Pentium II will be Y2K compliant.
