Why does Kingsoft Antivirus finish scanning files in a very short time when I select “Use Kingsoft Antivirus to Scan” in the context menu?
If Kingsoft Antivirus finishes scanning files in a very short time, it may indicate one of the following possibilities: 1. The file itself is very small. 2. There are packed files within the specific file while you have not selected to scan compressed files in Kingsoft Antivirus. In this case, you need to select the related option (please go to Tools -> Manual Scan, and then select the check box Remove viruses in compressed files). 3. There are split compressed volumes or files formatted with .ISO in the specific file. Kingsoft Antivirus does not support scanning those files. If your file meets none of the above situations, we recommended you submit your question online together with the date of KIS 9’s last update, operating system version, file size, file types and screen shots.
