Why does KDE start with more than 1 virtual keyboard?

You logged off KDE with a keyboard open and it saved it to a session file, so each time you log back on, it opens the programs that were running when you logged off. The solution to this is to close all running programs, then log off and reboot. Next time you start KDE, there will be only 1 keyboard!
