Why does Karana want to kill the dog with yellow eyes?
Why does she save him? Karana’s brother was killed by the pack of wild dogs. She decided to kill them. She came to the decision that the pack became much bolder. It was because they have a leader, the big dog with yellow eyes. If she killed him, she would be satisfied. However, when she wounded him, she couldn’t kill him and saved his life. The typical compassion and sympathy to the defenseless creature were cause of it. One point is to kill the powerful enemy and another to kill the helpless and unarmed enemy. And in this way she didn’t leave him to die and brought him into the house.
