Why does Jesus share so many characteristics with gods like Mithra and Horus and Dionysus?
It’s not Jesus that shares the gods characteristics, its the gods that share the same characteristics of Jesus. Jesus was before them and had a huge influence on the Greek and Roman culture where these gods originate from. When they fell away from Jesus, they made up their own gods that had similar characteristics to Jesus.
