Why does jazz dance get such a bad rap?
LM: Because it sounds corny. Jaaazz dance. You know—it’s not ballet. There is no such thing as jazz hands and jazz dance. Luigi has never called it jazz dance. He calls it jazz technique. TONY: You’ve played a lot of strong, vivacious women. Is there a character against type you’d like to play?
