Why does itunes visualizer lag on my secondary monitor?
The X550 isn’t exactly a powerful card. It comes with (at most) 128MB of VRAM, which isn’t a ton when you’re talking about driving 2 monitors. The lag is probably based on how high your resolution is set on both monitors and therefore how hard the card is working to keep an image visible on both. I’d say it’s a video card issue and an upgrade should take care of it if it’s important enough to you. Or you could just try reducing the resolution on your second monitor. The primary monitor always gets precedence so that’s why it’s smooth on that one.
