Getting a new screen, while looking better, won’t help you get web pages faster. Your internet speed is governed by your connection speed and their connection speed. If it seriously takes 15-30 minutes to load a page, then you are on the wrong part of the internet site. Or you need to access a different page. Web pages for dial-up connections don’t take more than 10 seconds to load up generally speaking. If it has Flash and graphics on it, javascript and CSS coding and all the bells and whistles on it, then you are going to hate life on the internet. Your computer needs to be updated to handle the speed of those applications as well. The cheapest thing to replace will probably be your computer. You can get a decent, recent model for about $300 that will dramatically increase your internet speed.
