Supply and demand. There s not much demand in the US for anime, and the primary money-maker is DVD sales (which there is no rush to get those out for US licensing companies). It also takes a while for the anime to be picked up by a US company and then the voice actors need to be cast. There is a lot of work involved, so sometimes it can be almost a year or more before the US catches up to Japan anime. They are getting faster with subtitling, such as Viz Media which uses CrunchyRoll.com to broadcast Naruto online.

This is simple, its because there is so much Anime in Japan and pretty much all of them are awesome and really cool, and the people that dub anime have to choose the right anime that will gain the most fans and the animes that are the most unique and stick out the most. Also because it does take a while to dub a 30 min episode and just imagine how long a series takes!!! but you are right, and i wish that alot more Anime was brodcasted in America and around the world just like in Japan.
