Because sometimes you have teams like the Giants who win the super bowl with a fluke, and somehow go into the playoffs as the first seed with people thinking that they are the best team in the league when in actuality the second seed is a more complete team than they are. Anyway I agree, I just ignore clowns who say anything like that though.
