Why does it say that antique and vintage items are sold “without warranty”?
These items are not new, may be over a hundred years old, and consequently do not come with a guarantee. They are sold as “collectables”. Buyers are expected to take reasonable care of their purchases. While many may be wearable with care we are able to offer no guarantee of this or of their suitability for such. Only items in our Brand New category are guaranteed defect free for 30 days from purchase.
