Why does it say my Hilton HHonors account is invalid?
There can be several reasons why you receive a message saying your HHonors account number is invalid. First, your account must be activated. If you join the HHonors program on-line you will still need to wait a brief period for the Hilton Honors Service Center to actually activate the account. If you have joined the program by phone or at a hotel it can take six to eight weeks to have your account activated.
